(C)  recognize that inherited traits of individuals are governed in the genetic material found in the genes within chromosomes in the nucleus.

   1. 1. Sometimes you hear someone say something skips a generation (baldness, blue eyes, etc.).   In other words, a child will inherit a trait their grandparent has, but their parents did not have. Use what you learned in this section to explain how this is possible.
